Today I’m sharing a simple card layout using scrap designer series paper. All you need are small squares of paper — 1-1/4″ or 1-1/2″ squares work perfectly. This is a great way to use up those beautiful scraps instead of letting them sit in a drawer.
For the background on the card front, I added embossing to give the card extra texture and elegance. Altogether, it’s a very simple design, but the finished card looks so elegant and is sure to put a smile on someone’s face when they receive it in the mail.

Delicate Dreams Scrap Square Designer Paper Card
The square designer paper is all from the Delicate Dreams pack. The embossed background is the Floral Spray. I try different colors, from Cloud Cover, Gray Granite, Hydrangea Hue, Smoky Slate, Basic Beige and Basic White.
For some, this will feel like deja vu! These are the cards that I send out for Thank Yoy for May orders.

Silly Old Bear Showcase
I hand-cut the bear from the designer paper, and this one is perfect for “Just a Note.” For the greeting, I pulled out the “Go To Greeting” stamp set from my retired stash. I would love to get another set with this type of greeting.
