One Stamp Three Technique. Using the Peacock in the Natural Artistry.

For today’s blog post, I am sharing three different techniques using just one stamp. The stamp set I am using is the Natural Artistry Stamp Set, featuring the beautiful peacock image for all three techniques.

All three techniques showcase how versatile this peacock stamp can be. I included individual pictures of each card below, along with a how-to video where I demonstrate all three techniques step-by-step.

Ghosting On Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Paper (DSP)

Ghosting On Designer Paper Using the Peacock in the Natural Artistry.

The first technique is ghosting on Designer Series Paper. Some people may call it a blackout or even Joseph’s Coat, but I think ghosting fits this technique best. It creates such a striking effect and gives the peacock a dramatic look.

Step-by-Step for the Ghosting Technique On DSP

On a piece of colorful designer paper, stamp the image using VersaMark ink
Heat Embossed with CLEAR embossing powder
Cover the surface with a dark-colored ink. (Memento Black ink, Night Of Vavy, or Secret Sea are the ones that I recommend.)
Using a towel(rag) or paper towel, wipe off the excess ink of the embossed image.
Voila! You have the Ghosting!

Stamping Using Sponge Dauber For a Soft Pastel Look

The second technique is stamping with sponge daubers using different ink colors for a soft blended appearance. This technique adds beautiful depth and allows the colors to flow naturally together, and even gives the look of soft pastel.

Stamping and Color With Stampin’ Blends

Last but not least is traditional stamping and coloring with Stampin’ Blends, blending from dark to light shades. This technique really brings the peacock to life with rich color and dimension.
