Today I’m sharing a few helpful tips using the Addressed to You Stamp Set, along with a simple and elegant background created with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.
I’ve heard from some crafters that using the Simply Score can feel a little tricky, especially if keeping your hand steady is challenging. In the video below, I show you an easy way to create this background using the Simply Score, and I also demonstrate how you can achieve the same look with your paper trimmer using the score blade.
This technique creates a clean, elegant background that works beautifully with the Addressed to You stamp set.

Basic Measurement
Here are the basic measurements
- Card Base 11 x 4 ¼” score at 5 ½”
- Color Cardstock layer two of 3 ⅞” x 5 ⅛”, one for the front and one inside.
- Top layer two of 3 ¾” x 5″ , one for the front and one inside.
Oval Shape for the focal point
There are no dies that coordinate with this set, so it is hand-cut. No worries if you dislike hand-cutting. You can stamp directly on the top layer. Alternatively, see below for the circle layout.
Circle Punch-out for the focal point
For the circle, I use the 1 ¾” and the 1 ⅞”.
