This project is a wonderful way to use up your stash of Designer Series Paper while creating something a little different from a traditional card. Measurements
Wide Gate Fold
- Card Base 5 ½” x 4 ¼” and 11″ x 4 ¼” score each end at 2″ and 2 ¾”
- Designer Paper Print A 2 of 1 ⅞” x 4 ⅛.”
Print B 2 of 1 ⅝” x 4 ⅛”; 2 of ⅞” x 4 ⅛” - Basic White or Very Vanilla 3 ⅜” x 4 ⅛.”
Perennial Lavender Designer Paper
The card base I used Crumb Cake for the cardstock. The frames are from the Sweet Words & Labels Dies that will be released on May 5th. #167627.
Mixing Designer Paper On the Card and Envelops
For this combo, I mix 3 different designer papers. I mix the Perennial Lavender, Splash of Sparkles, and the Pleasant Patterns. Don’t be afraid to mix papers you have on hand; so many papers coordinate well together, even if they are not in the same pack.
6 x 6 Designer Paper Mini Envelops
In the video, I also shared 2 different ways to fold a piece of 6 x 6 designer paper to create a mini envelope. These envelopes are perfect for a square chocolate or a tea bag.
