Let’s talk about Wow Bow Fold – Big WOW, Super Easy!
For today’s project, I’m using the Made with Love Designer Series Paper. This is for this very popular fold. I now officially call it the Wow Bow. When I first shared this fold, it didn’t have a name, and I kept getting asked what it was called. Since it resembles a bow and has such a wow factor, the name finally stuck!
At first glance, this card looks intense to make, but I promise—it’s super easy. You simply fold the corners to the edge, top and bottom, and boom… It’s done! The paper size is 6″ x 5¼” (or 5⅛”). When using a 6″ x 6″ piece, I save the extra strip for the inside of the card, which makes it even more efficient.
The designer paper finial measurements are: 2 1/2 x 5¼” (or 5⅛”) and 2 of 1 ¾” x 5¼” (or 5⅛”). The difference in the ⅛” and ¼” for the length is depending if you’re adding an extra layer.
The picture above the cards I created with half a pack of the Made with Love Designer Series Paper, which gave me 24 cards. If I had used the full pack, that would have been 48 cards—pretty amazing for such a simple layout!
