Frenchie and Holly Creating A Beautiful Sunset Scenery On Card. Inspired by a beautiful sunset on Lake Livingston, Texas. The device Holly is holding is one of the pictures she took at sunset here on the lake. That was our inspiration picture to create these beautiful cards.

Last month Holly came to visit me for a long weekend, and every night we would walk at the dock watching the sunset. Every night the sunset was beautiful in that orange color. I love a good sunset with a few clouds to give some character, but that weekend it was no clouds in sight, but it was still outstanding with the ducks flying low.

After many and many more requests for a video, I did the sunset scenery card last week during my Create On The Fly. So this video was recorded during a live broadcast.

Sunset Scenery On Cards

These are both my take on the sunset on the lake scenery. Many of you will ask why the pine trees and palm trees… Here on the Lake in Livingston, Texas, we have many pines trees and some planted palm trees. Maybe some of the palm trees are natural here, but the ones in the wood are short, not tall ones, so I assume they have been planted. So long story short, we have both palm and pine.

Like always, when creating scenery and sponging, NEVER judge your card till it is complete. Making a scenery, I say it gets hugely before it gets pretty. Finish the card, and then you will see it was worth your time, and we can always add more elements if we happen to have some blotch of ink in place.
