Oceanfront Without The Ocean, what kind of title is that? When you create a card with the stamp set Oceanfront and don’t have water insight, that becomes Oceanfront without the Ocean.
The stamp set Oceantfront is perfect for prairie scenery. Changing the color in the center stamp from blue for water to green for the prairie is perfect. Also, the big rock-bolder is the ideal element for this scenery. Finally, I added the clouds, birds, and greeting from the stamp set After the Storm.
Color for the scenery
- sky in Balmy Blue,
- ocean for the field in Pear Pizzaz,
- sand-ground in Crumb Cake,
- the rocks in Basic Gray,
- tall seagrass with Bumblebee and Old Olive,
- short grass in Old Olive.
I added a vellum layer on top of the stamped layer. The vellum adds a soft focus to this scenery. How to add the vellum? Using a sponge and liquid glue. I have a tip video to add the vellum CLICK HERE to view.

- Basic White 8 ½ x 5 1/5 score at 4 ¼, 3 ¼ x 4 ½
- Basic Gray 3 ½ x 4 ¾
- Vellum 3 ¼ x 4 ½
