Dust to Dawn with the Wave Of Inspiration, To the Moon, After the Storm

Dust to Dawn with the Wave Of Inspiration, To the Moon, After the Storm stamp sets a perfect combination for some beautiful ocean scenery.

The more I play with the Wave of Inspiration stamp set, the more I love the scenery. The ones that I am about to share are some of my favorite.

Wave Of Inspiration From Dust To Dawn Scenery Video.

The video below is a replay from my Special Edition Live Video of the Dust to Dawn with the Wave Of Inspiration.

Ocean Scenery At Full Moon

Dust to Dawn with the Wave Of Inspiration, To the Moon and After the Storm Stamp Set

For the full moon, I used the stamp set To the Moon. For the first section of cards, I stamp the wave with VeraMark and emboss it with white or clear powder. Both powder, the clear and the white, work perfectly. Next, the moon is stamped with SoSaffron on all the cards that I heat emboss the wave.

I also added the wave die-cut using blue foil and the adhesive sheet. As I mentioned in the video, the adhesive sheet is a time saver and very simple to adhere to the detailed wave when using the adhesive sheet.
The Blue foil paper is only available while supplies last.

Another stamp set that coordinated well with the Wave of Inspiration is the Sailing Home. The lighthouse is from the stamp set Sailing Home.

In the video, I share how I did the blending with the Blending Brush.

Measurements

  • Card base 8 ½ x 4 ¼ score at 5 ½ Smoky Slate, Night Of Navy or Bermuda Bay
  • Layer 5 ¼ x 4
  • Basic White 5 ⅛ x 3 ⅞, 5 ¼ x 4 inside

In these following two cards, the moon is stamped Smoky Slate ink, sponging very lightly with So Saffron. The wave in stamped Night of Navy and sponge some So Saffron for the moon’s reflection on the water.

I love the reflection of the moon on the crashing wave.

  • Night Of Navy 5 ⅜ x 4 ⅛ with the 3 ⅜ 4 ¾  stitched rectangle die for the opening.

Stormy Sunrise

What should I cold this card “Stormy day” or “Sunrise,” or I bet this is “After the Strom.” I enjoyed creating these two cards more than I can say. Something about these cards makes me smile using my million-dollar sale stamp set. It goes perfectly with the wave set. At first, I was not sure where to put the rays, but when I tried it coming up from the ocean, it was the right call, I would say.

Measurements

  • Bumblebee is 8 ½ x 4 ¼ card base
  • Night Of Navy 5 ⅜ x 4 ⅛
  • Basic White 2 of  5 ¼ x 4 one of the front and inside.
