Easter Card The Garden Tomb with the Layering Diorama. Great card for Easter

Did you realize Easter is just around the corner? I have a great Easter Card, The Garden Tomb with the Layering Diorama. Something about these cards got my attention, and maybe it will do the same for you.

Tina Zinck inspired me, and Wendy Murphy inspired Tina. So now I hope to inspire YOU to create one of the garden tomb cards for this Easter.

The Garden Tomb Card How-To Video

I hare how to create The Easter Garden Tomb card in this video. I have the measurement and supplies listed. Below.

Hand-Penned Card Base

Easter Card The Garden Tomb with the Layering Diorama

As I explained in the video, I wanted a big card base and chose the Hand-Penned memories and more cards and envelopes. The card base is 6 ¼ x 4 ¼. I covered the front with Basic White then used the New Horizons designer paper.

  • Hand-Penned Memories and more Card Base
  • Basic White is 6 ¼ x 4 ¼
  • New Horizons Designer paper 6 x 4
  • In Good Taste Designer paper 4 ½ x ½ and 2 ¾ x ½ for the cross
  • Gray Granite 2 of the Laying Diorama #3,4 (I count from the largest to smallest), 1 ¾ circle
  • Sahara Sand Laying Diorama #3,4
  • Sprig punch out in Old Olive, Garden Green, and Mossy Meadow

I have four layers of the Diorama for this tomb.

For the opening in the front, I use the #6 of the Layering Diorama. The “cloth” is a piece of dryer sheet that I tuck in the corner.

Stacked Stone For The Background

Easter Card The Garden Tomb with the Layering Diorama

After looking at pictures on the internet for the Garden Tomb, I decided to make a card with the Stacked Stone for the background. The only problem is I wish the stamp would stock the stone on the landscape. It is easier to make this card landscape than a portrait layout.

  • Very Vanilla Thick 11 x 4 ¼ score at 5 ½ card base, 3 x 3 ¾ banner for greeting
  • In Good Taste Designer Paper ⅜ x 3 ¾, ⅜ x 2 ¼ for the cross
  • Gray Granite Layering Diorama #4, 3
  • Sahara Sand #4 and 1 ¾ circle
