I have a tip video for you all today. Great tips to die-cut with detailed outline die.
I bet you die cut a detailed image with a dies and miss bit and piece of the stamped image. Well, I bet I have a few tips that will help you with intricate dies that coordinate with a stamp set.
Tip Video for Detailed Outline Dies
In this video, you will find many tips that will save you time and frustration when it comes to die-cut a stamped image with a detailed outline dies.
What’re the tiny holes on dies?
Did you ever notice tiny holes on specific dies? Of course, not all dies have small holes, but when you see some, know that they serve a purpose. The Purpose of the little holes-on dies is to see where to align the die with the stamp image for a perfect alignment to die cut.
I am sure I’m not the only one that dies cut an image and die cut part of the stamped image. Well, trust me, if you aline the stamped image one the outline PLUS with the little holes, you will have a perfect die-cut image each time. So when it comes to detailed stamps and die-cut, one little alignment can make a big difference.
Why do some dies have the little hole and some don’t? That is simple; only a detailed and precise image will need that extra guide to align the stamped image with the die to get the perfect die-cuts. Bold prints are much easier to align to die cut than a detailed or delicate line image. Also, if you die cut pieces without a stamped image, it is no need to align the die.
I hope these little tips simplify your stamping experience.
