The beautiful Blessings Of Home stamp set is perfect for a slimline card. The slimline card became very popular in the past year, and Stampin’Up! got the slimline envelopes in Colors.  I have a video and more detail below about these slim cards. 

Today slim card would be great for a birthday greeting, anniversary, get well, to name a few. 

Blessings Of Home Slimline Card How-To Video 

While watching the video, you’ll see tips for the Blessing Of Home stamp set, vellum coloring, adhering Vellum, information about the slim cards, and more stamping tips. 

Slim Card with Blessings Of Home 

The Blessings of Home slim card is very simple and easy to create. In short, you stamp two of the flower comb, simple coloring with Stampin’ Blends, die-cut, and assemble. Yes, that is simple, and I have all the measurements below. 

Slimline Envelopes 

I am excited to report that Stampin’Up!  has the Slimline Envelope. See page 53 of the 2022 Mini Spring Catalog. They come in a pack of 15 envelopes, 5 of each color. The color are Soft Succulent, Smoky Slate, and White. 

Measurement for the slim card 

• Basic White card base 8 ½ x 7 ½, 7 ½ at the top score at 3 ¾ 
  2 of 4 ¾ x 3 ¼ for the flower cutouts 
• Basic Gray 8 ⅜ x 3 ⅝ 
• Heart & Home Designer Paper 8 ¼ x 3 ½ 
• Vellum scrap for the bees 

Vellum Tips 

Here are a few extra tips when using Vellum for your card making. The bees on the Blessing Of Home card are Vellum. 

• Stamp on vellum cardstock with StazOn
• Color the back of the stamped Vellum with Stampin’ Blends. 
  Stampin’ Blends will dry on Vellum, while water-based marker will NOT dry. 
• It is very important to color the back of the Vellum of the stamped image with StazOn so the ink will not bleed or smear.
• In the video, you will find tips to adhere the bees with dimensionals or foam sheet adhesive.
