True Love Treat Box and Card Comb

Hello Friends, 
Today I am sharing a simple treat box and card combo. Plus I have how to color the True Love Designer paper with two different products. One set is color with the Stampin’ Blends and one with the Blending Brush.  
I know this look wedding but you can change the greeting to Happy Birthday, Just Because… These would be great for all occasions and I bet it would put a smile on that special person that receives them.

Combo With Stampin’ Blends 

In this combo, I color the True Love Designer Paper with the Stampin’ Blends. My best tip to color with the blends on Design paper is to color the paper before assembling your box or your card. Yes, Stampin’ Blends will bleed through that is normal.  I share the how-to in the video. 

Color Combo 

For both the blends or the blending brush I used the same color combo. That is the Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight. 

Card Measurements

• Blackberry Bliss 11 x 4¼ score at 5½, 3 x 4¼ (this is the center layer you can die cut the “Love” in the center of this piece) 
• Basic White 2 of 5¼ x 4 one for the front emboss with Scripty embossing folder and the other one inside. 2½ x 2 for the die cuts. 
• True Love Designer paper 4 x 2¾ *this piece was the remaining of the 4″ strip that I cut for the box (box is 4 x 9¼) 

Both of the cards are the same measurements. 

In the video, I share how to have the Heart charm in the center of the bow. This adds such a nice touch to the card and the box. 

Inside the card 

For the inside, I stamped with Blackberry Bliss the matching flower for the stamp set Forever & Always. It is the perfect match with the True Love Designer paper. 

Box Measurement 

These boxes are quick to assemble, they are all pre score just need to assemble. Again all is shown in the video.  You can view them on page 11 of the Jan-June mini catalog. The measurement is 4-1/16 x  2-11/16 x 1½ a very nice size. 

Tip to adhere the Designer Paper to the treat box.

For this, I recommend watching the video. I started with a piece of 4 x 9¼. Like mention watches the video for the best tip to adhere the paper, you will be glad you watch.  

Combo With Blending Brush

How do I explain this other than showing it in the video? Again writing is not my forte so video are the best for me to share the how-to.
One thing that I can say is DO NOT JUDGE your designer paper till you are done coloring and fish your project. First, this coloring method looks blah, mix together but after you finish assemble with the ribbon ad such it makes a big difference and a very soft look.  

From the close-up picture, you can see the color are mix together but all finish it looks great. 

Box and card are all the same measurement as the one with the blends. 

True Love Designer paper 

I love this black and white paper. It is so simple to add the color of your choice. How anytime you wish you would have designer paper in this or that colors? well, this is a great solution just add the color of your choice.
