How to make the snow peak on the Mountain Air stamp set

Hello, Friends
Today I am sharing how to make the snow peak on the Mountain Air stamp set. I love all type of scenery and this one bring me many memories.

Being in Cheyenne Wyoming for over 13 years, these sceneries bring so many memories. No, we do not have the mountain their but we sure can see them at the horizon plus so many weekend camping at the foothills of the mountain.

I have the how-to video below or you can view it on my YouTube channel. Don’t let the picture fool you that this is complicated. Much easier to make then you think.

I was inspired by Kim Arlene to make these sceneries cards.

Measurements

For the color card stock, I try a few different combinations. Colors are Mossy Meadow, Gray Granite, Basic Gray, and Pretty Peacock.

  • Cardbase 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼
  • Layer 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
  • Whisper White for the top layer to stamp 5¼ x 4

Color choice

  • Mountains in Gray Granite. I try in Smoky Slate and found it a little too light for this card
  • Trees in Old Olive. It looks way darker than Old Olive but I had just re-ink my ink pad.
  • Sky in Balmy Blue.
  • Sunrise So Saffron.
  • Water Pacific Point and Balmy Blue.
  • Meadow Crumb Cake and Old Olive.
  • Greetings and birds Black Memento ink.

Looking at them all I think this one is my favorite. Remind me of camping in the summertime in the mountain. Just the peak of the snow. Below one would be more late spring with still plenty of snow in the mountains.
