Hello Stampers,
How about a Blue Spruce with the Peaceful Boughs stamp set. Many time when we see pine branch we think of green for color. Today I am using the Pretty Peacock to get the Blue Spruce.
In the video I have quick, simple and also adding the puff paint with the ice glitter to crank it up a notch. All depend if you are in a hurry or not to add the extra both are beautiful.

I demo these card in St-George UT last month or so when I attend Jill creative weekend. I think it is safe to say that many was in love with this look with the puff paint and the ice glitter. All is show in the video.
The simple one
These one are the simple one. Stamped, sponged and assemble. Yes that simple.
Measurements
All Cards are the same measurements
- Whisper White Thick 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base, 5 x 3¾ top layer
- Shimmery White 5 x 3¾ *this is top layer some are done with the white cardstock and some in the shimmery
- Pretty Peacock 5¼ x 4
Emboss, Puff Paint and Ice Glitter
These one I call them crank it up a notch. You can see I emboss the pine cones using copper embossing Powder. I added the puff paint and before embossing the puff paint I sprinkle the Ice Glitter and VOILA it get all emboss together. Oh! so pretty and sparkle.
Tip for the Puff Paint
After using the paint on many project I discover that if using the puff paint of a dark ink it will bleed into the puff paint. If this happen just add another layer of the paint and heat set again. The brown tones are the one that bleed the most. I didn’t have the bleeding with the pretty peacock. In the video I explain it all.
Mother of Pearl
For this one the top layer is the Shimmery White cardstock. I added the Frost Shimmer paint with a crunch plastic wrap. This technique is call Mother Of Pearl. Not sure about how to apply the Shimmer Paint CLICK HERE for a older video. The mother of pearl work great on shimmery white cardstock, the video is done on glossy but the shimmery white is amazing for this one.
The stamp set in that video is retired but I have some for sale in my retired stamp sales here.
