Step by step floating ink technique
- Stamp your image on watercolor paper using Veramark ink and heat emboss with embossing powder of your choice. This technique is also great on Shimmery White cardstock. Today cards are on watercolor paper.
- Spritz water the emboss image.
- Using ink and the aqua painter add little drop of ink on top of the water. It will spread around. Today colors are Rich Razzleberry or Flirty Flamingo for the rose, Crushed Curry or Daffodil Delight for the Berries and Old Olive for the greenery.
- Let dry natural or tap a paper towel on top of the wet image. To get a deeper colors let dry natural. DO NOT use the heat tool to dry. The heat tool would push the ink and mix all together.
You can view this technique in action in my video. CLICK HERE to view. A messy look but I sure love that look.
