Today I’m sharing two greeting cards perfect for summertime! Also, make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to learn about the new product release.
The first card features the U.S. flag that would be perfect for July 4th and uses a fun flip-card design. I also used the new Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder, which is part of today’s July Online Exclusive release. I understand the folder was just released today to late to get it to create a card for the 4th, but some demos have it on hand, and/or I bet you have another folder you would use, like a polka dot would be cute.
When I think of summer, I think of picnics, sunshine, and watermelon! My second card is a cheerful watermelon-themed card featuring the sentiment “Sending Sunshine.”
For this one, I use my computer and print the greeting 🙂

USA Flag Flip Card
Measurements
- Basic White 11″ x 4 ¼” score at 2 ¾” and 5 ½” card base, 4″ x 5 ¼”,
2″ x 2 ½” emboss with Swirls of Magic, 2 ½” stitch circle ½ of it for the watermelon - Real Red 3″ x 5 ¼” emboss with Swirls of Magic and cut on the long way in ½” increments, you will get 6 strips of ½” x 5 ¼”

- Basic White 11″ x 4 ¼” score 5 ½” card base
2 ½” stitch circle ½ of it for the watermelon - Cloud Cover 4″ x 5 ¼”
