Time to Subscribe: April Paper Pumpkin – Lakeside Retreat
It’s time to subscribe if you would like to receive this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit, called Lakeside Retreat.
This month’s kit will make nine beautiful cards featuring three different designs, with three cards of each design. Paper Pumpkin kits are always fun because we never know exactly what will arrive in our mailbox. Stampin’ Up! gives us a small description each month, but not all the details—so it’s always a little surprise when the kit arrives.
Here is what Stampin’Up! Shared about the upcoming kit.
Lakeside Retreat
- Makes 9 cards: 3 each of 3 designs with 9 coordinating envelopes
- Precut paper pieces and enamel pebble embellishments
- Stamp set tailored to male recipients
- Coordinating colors: Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive,
Peaceful Pine (Classic Stampin’ Spot), Pecan Pie, Pool Party
Most months (not all, but most), the kit focuses on card making, and everything you need is included right inside the box. From start to finish, the supplies are ready for you. You may want to have a little adhesive on hand—sometimes glue dots are included—and a pair of scissors. Other than that, you simply open the box and start creating.
One of the things I love most about Paper Pumpkin is that there is no planning needed. You don’t have to think about the design or gather supplies. You can just sit down, relax, and enjoy creating.
These kits are also wonderful to share with kids, grandkids, or friends. Life can get very busy, and this is a simple way to slow down and enjoy a creative moment together while making handmade cards.
And here is my little challenge for you:
After you finish your cards, send them out! Put a little sunshine into someone else’s day. A handmade card truly is a gift that keeps on giving.
Again, this month’s kit is Lakeside Retreat, and it will create nine cards with three different designs.
Be sure to subscribe by April 10th to receive this kit. Click here to subscribe. PS, there is no commitment; you can cancel at any time.
Wonderful Scenes Dies
Each quarter, Stampin’ Up! releases a set of Paper Pumpkin coordinating dies that match the stamp set included in that quarter’s kit. These dies aren’t necessary to complete the projects in your Paper Pumpkin kit — everything in the kit already has what you need.
However, if you choose to purchase the dies, they give you extra creative options and coordinate perfectly with the stamps — great for future cards and other projects.

Frenchie’s Extra Perk For Paper Pumpkin Subscribers
My customer appreciation for my Paper Pumpkin subscribers.
I have a sweet Paper Pumpkin subscriber appreciation for all my subscribers. I share extra ideas for using the lovely stamp sets included in each monthly kit. These stamp sets are great; I’m sure you’ll love having them in your stamp collection.

I gather a group of demonstrators. Each month, we create cards using the stamp set that comes with the Paper Pumpkin subscription. Additionally, we’re sending a PDF (project download files) to all of our subscribers.
The PDF includes instructions on how to make cards using the stamp set. This month, we had eight card ideas. I will not promise an exact number, but there will be at least six.
This is NOT an alternative project for your kit. You can make your lovely kit as soon as it arrives. The file will be emailed to you about two weeks after you receive your paper pumpkin.
All who choose me as their demo will receive the PDF if they subscribe or buy a prepaid subscription.
This is a great way to keep using the stamp set in your kit. These sets are great, and I want to ensure you get ideas for using them. Again, this is exclusive to our Paper Pumpkin.
The picture above is a sneak peek of the PDF Download of the cards sent to our paper subscribers this month.

Meanwhile, the greatest compliment you can give me is a referral to a friend—many thanks for considering my plea.
Have a lovely day, my friends, and happy crafting!
