Squared Triangle Fun Fold: A Beautiful Way to Showcase Designer Series

Today, I’m featuring a fun fold I call the Squared Triangle. This is a great fold to showcase Designer Series Paper on both sides. It is perfect for using all that paper we have been collecting.

The fold starts with a square piece of paper. We fold it into a triangle, then refold it for this unique design. I’ve included a video below that walks you through how to create the fold and assemble the card from start to finish.

Squared Triangle Showcase

Measurements:

Early Espresso 11″ x 4 ¼” score at 5 ½” card base.
3 ½” x 3 ½” emboss; #5 stitch square about 1″ square
Country Woods Designer Paper 3″ x 3″; ¾” x 4″ inside.
Layer Gray Granite or Pool Party 2 of 4″ x 5 ¼”, one embossed and one inside..
Basic Beige #3 stitch Square about 2″.
Very Vanilla 3 ½” x 4 ¾” inside.

Same layout, same designer paper, fold in and out. The background one is Pool Party, and the other is Gray Granite.

Close up of the fold. It looks like it is more than two pieces of designer paper, but there are only two of 3″ square.

You’ll also find a product list below with the supplies I used. Remember, this fold works beautifully with many Designer Series Papers. Feel free to experiment with what you already have on hand.

You might notice this fold looks familiar. It’s actually used in one of the cards from this month’s Customer Appreciation, but with a different paper. A little fun detail to watch for!

That’s it for now. It’s time to put that paper to good use. I know many of us buy beautiful Designer Series Paper, stack it neatly… and then let it collect dust. This fold is a great way to pull those papers out and start creating again.
