How to Create A Full Butterfly with Spotlight On Nature
In this video, you will see how simple creating a mirror image using a silicone sheet is. Stamp a close-wing butterfly on a silicone sheet and transfer it to cardstock to create a full image. You can see how simple this technique is in less than 6 minutes!
Mirror Butterfly out of the Spotlight On Nature
Here is a close-up of the full-body image of the butterfly. The wings on the right are stamped directly with the stamp, and the wings on the left are the transfer for the silicone sheet. I didn’t wipe off the antenna well; see the one below. Only one set of antennae shows; I wipe them off before the transfer! All is shown in the video.

- Basic White 4 x 5-¼ inside, 2-¾ x 2-¼, 2-¼ x ¾

For the butterfly on the card above, I stamped the butterfly and mirrored the image on the basic white, then did the same on scrap paper and hand-cut it. I adhered to each side of the wings and curled the edge of the wing so it looked like it was fluttering!
