Another stained glass for today’s share. This time, it is the Stained Glass With Foil Floating in the Window. The foil with the window sheet gives a bright look to the window. I share this in one of my Create On The Fly, so I have the live broadcast replay below.
How To Make A Stained Glass With Foil Floating in Window.
In the video, I share how I created the amazing Stained Glass with foil and window sheets. Also, I share how to create the floating object in the opening of the greeting card. Note that this video was recorded during a live presentation.
Everyday Detail Stained Glass With Foil
Measurements
- Basic White 8-½ x 5-½ score at 4-¼ Card Base *or 11 x 4-¼. I try both, and for a better floating in the center window, the 8-½ x 5-½ fit better.
2-¼ x 5-¼, ½ x 4 - Flight & Airy designer paper 4 x 5-¼, 2 of 5-½
- Boho Blue or Lost Lagoon 2-½ x 5-½, 4 x 4 for the frame cut with #7 and #8 Deckle Circle and ⅝ x 4
- Window Sheet 2 of 3-½ x 3-½ cut with #9 Deckle Circle
There is little space to write inside the card, showing in the opening, so I created a space in the back. This card is all decked out from the front to the inside and the back!
The stamping on the window sheet is done with StazOn, so it is very important to color with Stampin’ Blends on the other side. StayzOn and Stampin’ Blends don’t mix. All is shown in the video.
Humming Bird Stained Glass With Foil
A few weeks ago, I shared the Stained Glass “see-through” and added the foil to show the difference. Again, all is explained in the video. And if you missed the first video of stained glass, click HERE.
