Adding Color with Direct Ink and Markers or Stampin’ Blends

This one is the direct ink. This technique is quick and also fasted to add full coverage. The body and antenna are with the markers (you can use Write Markers of Stampin’ Blends). After I added the ink, I flickered the Wink Of Stella for the shimmery.

Adding Color with Ink Drop, Alcohol, and Spritzer

There is no specific receipt for this technique, but the darker you wish to get the color, the more ink drops you want to add. Also, add a few drops of Wink of Stella if you want a little sparkle; here is what I used.

  • In a Spritzer add…
  • Five drops of Pretty Peacock ink. (you can use the color of your choice, and remember the more ink you add, the deeper the color will appear)
  • Fill the Spritzer with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol, but keep a little space to mix the solution.
  • 3 to 5 drops of Wink Of Stella if you wish to have a shimmer to the butterflies.

Background with Paper Butterfly Accents

This is such a fun and easy way to create the background. While using the sprinter technique, place the paper butterfly on a piece of cardstock, and while you spritz the butterfly, you make the background. All is shown in the video.

How to adhere the butterfly to cards

To adhere the butterfly to my projects, I prefer to use liquid glue. They are very delicate, and the liquid glue is easy to apply.
