How to create Ruth Sunrise over the mountain for today’s video and technique.
Ruth from Artful Stamping sent me a fantastic One Sheet Wonder last fall and a card. I was in awhhhh with both. I shared the incredible one sheet wonder last month or so; if you miss it, click here to view it. Today it is all about the sunrise over the mountain.

In this video, I share how to create the scenery of the sunrise over the mountains step by step. First, the mountain is created with a blending brush and masking, a fun technique to create scenery.

These scenery cards need to be completed before judging your card. In short, it looks very blahhhh before it looks great, so in short, you need to finish the card to see the true beauty of a scenery card.

Measurements

Misty Moonlight 11 x 4 ¼ score at 5 ½ card base
Basic White 2 of 5 ¼ x4 one inside one for the front layer

Both cards are created the same Misty Moonlight for the trees and mountain, or the black is Memento black and Basic Gray, all the sun rays are the same colors.

Basic Black 5 ⅜ x 4 ⅛
Basic White 2 of 5 ¼ x4 one inside one for the front layer
