How to Cut the One Sheet Wonder For Ten Cards
As I explain in the video, it is many ways to cut a one-sheet wonder to create cards. I am about to share today, will be cut into different sizes pieces to create ten greeting cards.
Measurement:
- Cut the 12 x 12 in half at the 6″. You will have 2 pieces of 6 x 12
- 6 x 12 cut a strip of 1″ on the long way. (12 x 1 and 5 x 12)
12 x 1 cut in increment of 4″ (3 of 4 x 1)
5 x 12 cut in increment of 3″. (4 of 3 x 5) - 6 x 12 cut in half. (2 of 6 x 6)
- 6 x 6 cut in increment of 3″ each side. You will get 4 of 3 x 3.
- 6 x 6 cut a strip of ¾”. 6 x 5 ¼ and ¾ x 6
6 x 5 ¼, 6″ at top cut at 4″ ( 5 ¼ x 4 and 5 ¼ x 2)
6 x ¾ cut at 4″ *I didn’t use the 2″ x ¾
Four cards with the 3 x 5 pieces
Four cards with the 5 x 3
- Very Vanilla card base 7 ¾ x 5 1/5 score at 4 ¼
- Early Espresso 5 ¼ x 3 ¼
On the inside, I stamped the greeting, and inside I stamped one of the images of the stamp sets.
Four Cards With The 3 x 3 and 1 x 4 Pieces
I use the four 3 x 3 and the three 4 x 1 pieces. I adhere two of the 4 x 1 on the open side, and the other one I attach inside on the left-hand side.
- Very Vanilla card base 10 x 4 ¼ score at 5 ½
- Pacific Point 3 ¼ x 3 ¼
Optional - Early Espresso Side 4 ¼ x 1 ¼ top strip 2 of 4 ½ x 1 ¼
- Soft Suede 4 ¼ x 1
- Pacific Point 4 ½ x 1 ¼
- Very Vanilla 4 ¼ x 1
Last pieces for two cards
Using the 5 ¼ x 4 and the 4 x ¾. The layer is with Early Espresso 5 ⅜ x 4 ⅛ and inside is 4 ¼ x 1
Card with the 2 x 5 ¼.
- Card Base Very Vanilla 11 x 5 ½
- Early Espresso 5 ¼ x 4
- Soft Succulents 3 ¼ x 5 ¼. Die-cut the edge with the Basic Border die.
