It’s time for my monthly Christmas card. This month is a Christmas and Birthday Card with Symbols Of Fortune Designer Paper. The beautiful designer paper is suitable for any occasion, including Christmas.
The Symbols Of Fortune designer paper is a specialty paper. The specialty is the gold foil on one side of each sheet of 12 x 12 paper; with the rich look of the gold foil no need to add lots of work to get a wow-effect on your greeting card. For both cards, I only added the greeting and ribbon. I would classify this card in the elegant section, how about you?
How to Create A Simple Card With Symbols Of Fortune Paper
In this video, I share tips on creating a greeting card using the Symbols Of Fortune designer paper.
Greeting Cards with Symbols Of Fortune
Both cards with the Symbols of Fortune are the same layout, just different greetings. The birthday card is heat embossed with gold powder, while the Christmas card the greeting is die-cut with dies out of gold foil paper.
The easiest way to adhere the detailed cut-out to the card is by using an adhesive sheet on the back of the foil paper. It is such a time saver and clean way to adhere the detailed greeting to the card.
Measurements
- Basic White 8 ½ x 5 ½ score at 4 ¼ card base
- Gold Foil 4 x 5 ¼
- Symbols Of Fortune 5 x 3 ¾, ¾ x 5 ½ inside
