I have some fantastic scenery cards to share with you all today. I am sharing Two Template 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder from the New Horizons designer paper.
I keep telling you how beautiful the New Horizons paper is and how simple it is to create outstanding scenery cards. So today, I am sharing two layouts to make four cards out of one 6 x 6 sheet of Paper.
All is explained in the video but trust me, it is pretty simple. All levels of stamper can create these beautiful cards.
Video how to cut a piece of 6 x 6 paper to create four cards
Template #1 four of 3 x 3
This is a super easy template. First, cut your paper at 3″ and flip the Paper and cut again at 3″, which equals four pieces of 3 x 3.
In the picture above, you can see the print of the Paper before it is cut and the finished four cards.
Measurement
- Basic White 11 x 4 ¼ score at 5 ½ or 8 ½ x 5 ½ score at 4 ¼ (optional embossed the front with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder)
- Evening Evergreen 3 ¼ x 3 ¼
- OPTIONAL side strip Misty Moonlight 1 ¼ 4 ⅛
Some of the Paper I stamp directly on it. I am using the Grassy Grove stamp set and Evening Evergreen ink. It is beautiful with and without extra stamping. As mentioned before, the New Horizons paper is gorgeous and friendly to create fantastic scenery cards. The card about The trees is stamped, and the card below is just the Paper.
These are different prints, and the layer in the back of the designer paper is Blackberry Bliss. Also, I stamped the trees on all pieces.
Template #2 with Tags
For the template with tags, it is essential to look at the direction of the pattern of the Paper. Well, I bet we can flip the direction of the card if we cut the Paper the wrong way.
To cut the 6 x 6 paper, cut at 4 ¼ and flip both pieces and cut at 3″. You will get 2 of 3 x 4 1/4 and 2 of 3 x 1 ¾
Measurement
- Basic White 11 x 4 ¼ score at 5 ½ or 8 ½ x 5 ½ score at 4 ¼ (optional embossed the front with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder)
- Evening Evergreen 3 ¼ x 4 ½ and tag at 2 x 4 ¼
These are the same layout, just a different print, and the layers and tag are Blackberry Bliss.
