Today’s share is all about some easy, simple Holiday Cards with Peaceful Prints Designer Paper. I love the prints in the Peaceful Prints paper for quick cards.
So many times, when it comes to making Christmas-Holidays cards, we stress due to the time shortage in the business season of all. Well, these cards that I am sharing today are a perfect layout for quick and easy-to-mast produce.
The paper has 6 double-sided prints, so 12 different prints. The colors are Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Real Red, and Sahara Sand. Perfect colors for a country look.
Peaceful Prints Card Showcase
You will notice that is minimal stamping on these cards. It’s mainly cutting the paper and assemble.
The checker deer is punching out with the Deer Builder punch out of one of the prints in the designer paper pack.
The 2¼” white circle and the strip 4 x ½ are embossed with the Star-Crossed embossing folder. I have the PDF download step by step for this card. CLICK HERE to view or print.
The card base is Crumb Cake for this card and layer with Cherry Cobbler. Again the deer is punch out, out of the designer paper.
A little stamping on this card. The tree is from the stamp set Peaceful Plaid and punches out with the coordinate punch Tree Builder.
I bet you are looking for the red and Black checkered ribbon. Well, don’t waste your time looking; this is the White and Black Gingham ribbon on page 74 of the Holiday catalog. I color it with the dark Real Red blends. If you choose to color the ribbon with blends, be very careful with the tip of the blends. Touch the ribbon softly with the tips; no need to press hard. You could also use a sponge and ink.
Measurements
All cards are the same measurement.
- Card Base 11 x 4¼ score at 5½ or 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼
- Color Layer 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
- Strip 4 x ½
- Peaceful Prints Designer paper 4 x 3, 4 x 2¼, punch out of the deer
All the same measurements but look different with the different print.
With one sheet of 12 x 12, you can make six cards. With a full pack of designer paper, you can make a total of 72 cards. Minimal supplies and perfect for the one with no much spare time. Simple is still beautiful!
