Merriest Frame Hybrid Folder and Die Tip Video

For today I am sharing the Merriest Frame Hybrid Folder and Die Tip Video. A hybrid folder and die are where we can emboss and die cut at the same time. That is correct; the die fit inside the folder, and boom, it embosses and die-cut together. It is such time-saving when we make multiple cards. I bet Christmas card you will make more than one of the same.

Merriest Frames showcase

I have many cards to share using the Merriest Frame Folder and Dies. Not all of them are the hybrid technique, so you can see some of the possibilities with this combo of the folder and dies.

This frame is the hybrid. You will notice the outline of the greenery is die-cut and also emboss. By placing the outline die inside the folder, you pass it through the die-cut machine, and Voila, you have your die-cut frame, plus it is embossed.

The card at the top and the one below are NOT using the hybrid technique.
First, die-cut the card stock with the detail die frame, then place the die-cut frame in the embossing folder to emboss. The detailed frame is NOT build to hybrid.

The poinsettia and the stitched center rectangle are part of the Merriest Frame dies set.

Most of all of the cards, I splatter some Wink Of Stella to add the sparkle for the Holidays.

The next three cards are simply using the folder to emboss that pretty frame.

Measurement and Colors

The colors of these cards are Cherry Cobbler, Merry Merlot, Evergreen Evening, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, and Very Vanilla.

The measurement is all about the same.

Card base 11 x 4¼ score at 5½ or 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼
Die-cut for the frame 5½ x 4¼
Center frame 2 x 2⅞ or if die-cut the stitched frame starts with a piece of 2 ½ x 3
Layer for embossing ONLY, not die-cut 5⅜ x 4⅛
