Joseph Coat Kissing Technique with Art Gallery Stamp Set

Hello Stampers,
Today I am sharing the Joseph Coat Kissing technique. I did this for Splitcoaststamper. So maybe you already saw this on their site. It was the Tutorial showcase this past Wednesday.

Step by step for the Joseph Coat Kissing technique

On basic white sponge randomly Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo and Highland Heather. Cover the entire piece of cardstock with ink. Let dry for a few minutes.
Using a bold image (big flower in Art Gallery), ink with VersaMark.
Using a detailed stamp ( I used the scrip in Very Versailles) ink with Memento Black ink.
Take the stamp with the VersaMark on it and press to the detailed stamp inked in black. This is the kissing part.
Stamp on the inked card stock. (if you repeat the same image make sure to wash the stamp in between each application)
Cover the stamped image with clear embossing powder.
Heat emboss with a heat tool.
Use a sponge or drag the memento black ink all over the stamped cardstock.
Using a rag wipe off all ink off the embossed image.
Voila! you have the Joseph Coat Kissing technique done. It is magical!

Full Background

For this one, I stamped the entire piece of the cardstock. Note each time you stamp wash the stamp in between each stamped image to keep your VersaMark clean.

Measurements

Highland Heather 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base
Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
Basic White 2 of 5¼ x 4 one for the front layer and one inside.
Flirty Flaming 2½ x ½

Single image

This is the same technique I just stamp the flower once and the leaves. All same colors.

Measurements

Highland Heather 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base
Basic Black 4¾ x 3½
Basic White 5¼ x 4 inside, 3 x 4¼ top layer
Flirty Flaming 3¼ x 4½, scrap for the happy birthday

Close Up

Here you can see the detail of the kissing technique and all the random colors. This technique is what I call a magical technique.

The ribbon is the silver edge ribbon that I sponge with highland heather ink.
