Hello Friends, 
Today I am sharing a recap of last week’s team retreat here in Texas. It was amazing and I was blessed to be with 16 teammates for 4 days. This took place at Stagecoach Retreat in Coldspring Texas. 

I had teammates from 9 different states that attended this retreat. They came from Mississippi, Florida, Arizona, Oklahoma, Wichita, Wyoming, Michigan, Colorado, and Texas. Some flew in and some drove over 16 hours to attend the retreat. 

 The facility was amazing. This home accommodates 14 guests(local ladies when home to sleep we stay 14 in the house and it was roomy. 14 comfy twin beds with 4 full bathrooms and one-half bathroom) A large kitchen to prep the meals. 
The craft barn is amazing. There is a kitchenette and bathroom there as well. 6’ tables and comfortable chairs for each guest.  There’s plenty of lights. There’s a covered porch attached for just relaxing.  To see the place CLICK HERE. Brenda the owner of this place is such a sweet lady to work with. If you are looking for a small gathering place to hold a crop or retreat check it out. You will love how roomy this place is. 

Make and Take “swap cards”

Each attendees design and prep 2 cards for each attendee to make. Yes, that was 34 cards to make. Lots of stamping was done in the 4 days. So many variations and AMAZING cards. I am so blessed to work or should I say play with these talented teammates. Will share more of these card in an upcoming blog post. 

Positive Thoughts Stamp set 

The Positive Thoughts stamp set was the stamp set that all attendees received. Here is some great inspiration for this lovely stamp set.  

LeAnn design a dozen of cards using this stamp set. She did such a beautiful display for us. She sure has an eye to make a card and to showcase it. Great showcase LeAnn. 

I challenge all attendees to make a card during the event. Well, let just say that many ran out of time. they had more than 40 cards to make plus the 3D project. So only Glenda and Holly finish the extra challenge. They did an outstanding job.

Presentation by teammates 

We had 2 projects presentation and one business presentation.  

Estie shared how to make a box for cards. So simple but so elegant. She did a wonderful presentation. Will have all measurement and video coming next month. 

Michele shared how to make this cute pouch for an oatmeal pack. So cute with the Honey Bee. She did a great job. 

Holly share how to get involved in our community, by doing a fundraiser for a different cause. A stamping class or make and take is a great way to raise money to help a cause. It is great to share what we love and at the same time toughing life and helping others. Great job Holly. 

Food and stamping… 

I cook all the meals on-site. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner was served to all attendees. It’s safe to say that all attendees when home with a full belly and maybe some with a few extra pounds (not cause of my cooking maybe but cause all of the snacks that they brought to share)  The kitchen don’t scare me, so it was fun to cook for them all.
I want to say a big Thank YOU to Holly and Glenda for helping me set up and do lots of prep food before all the attendees arrived. 

See the bottom picture at the left corner that is all the snack they brought at the craft barn. We had salty, sweet and everything in between. 

Giggle and more giggle 

Let’s just say that we did more than stamping. Some took nap, some walk more then 10k step in a day, some did peel off mask OH! we sure did giggle and laugh and laugh.

Frenchie’s Projects

This was one of the projects that I design for them to make. I did this portfolio Card Keeper with Calendar many years ago. It’s a project that never goes out of style.
