Hello Friends,
Oh! how about the Over the Moon stamp set for a wedding card.
I will share how to stamp a bull out of the cow stamp. A little bit of masking and and drawing for the horns and boom will have a bull out of the cow.
The story behind this card
I bet your thinking why on why a wedding card with the cow. Well here the scoop behind this card.
A few weeks ago I was invited to a wedding that took place at a ranch. The wedding itself was in the field. Plus the cake topper was cows. So yes the bride is passionate about cows.
Now long story short I miss the wedding due to Imelda, the tropical storm that shut the airport down in Houston. Flight cancel so we didn’t make it to Wyoming. I was bum to miss out Megan and Preston wedding. Megan was Nika roommates all the 4 years she attended University of Wyoming. Megan became part of our family, so missing this wedding was not what I plan for. Mother nature had a different plan for us. I am thankful for picture.
Now you know the reason why the cow and bull for a wedding card.
I have the how to video below or you can view on my YouTube Channel.

- Silver Foil-Edged card base
- Basic Black ¼ x 4
- Whisper White Thick 5 x 3¾
How to mask on the stamp
Here you can see how I used scotch tape to mask the otters. Many time we mask on the cardstock but this case I needed to make the stamp. This was the best way to stamp the cow without the otters. You will see in the video also I explain a few thing about why and such. I sure wanted to keep the cow with the flower for the bride and the other one needed to become the bull.
For the horns I draw them. Trust me they way I done the half moon for the hornes it is simple. Again all is show in the video.
Coloring tips
I stamps all image with Memento ink. Color with Stamping blends. To be honest the color I play with the Soft Suede, Smoky Slate and Basic Black. to get some light sport I use the lifter. The boots are the light Lovely Lipstick and cheek Petal Pink light.
For the cow eyes, I draw some eyelashes. For the drawing the eyelashes and horns I use the Journaling pen. the pen is very fin so it is easy to draw plus it don’t bleed.
What you think of her lovely lipstick and blush. The Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon was perfect for the veil. I took about 3″ make a knots and adhere with glue dots.
She bring a big smile on my face. I hope it bring a smiles also to Megan and Preston. I still can’t believe I miss their big day but my heart was with them.
