Hello Friends
Today video is full of tips for the Lasting Lily. This set it is a Distinktive stamp so it is important to know a few tips.
I have the video at the bottom of this post or on my You Tube Channel.
After making hundreds of these cards I think I have find many great tips to have the perfect image. You may ask, WHY hundreds of these cards. Well maybe you have one right now in your mail box. If you shop with me in December these are the cards that I send to all that place an order in my Online store in December to say THANK YOU for your business. At the end of each month I send thank YOU cards to all that support me. I so appreciate you that is a little token of appreciation and trust me I so appreciated your support.
Measurement
Note that I have different color card stock for the middle layer. I match the middle layer with the color of the Lily.
- Whisper White 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base, 5 x 3¾
- Middle layer 5¼ x 4 Calypso Corral or Highland Heather or Night of Navy
Best Tip
One of the best tip is to have the ink pad not to juicy. If you just re-ink your ink pad that can cause blotchy ink spots for a dist Ink stamp. See picture below, the card on the left my ink pad what just re-ink. Best advice if your ink pad is to juicy is take a paper towel and just tap a little on the surface of the pad or you can take a plastic spoon press back and forth to push the ink into the pad. Also I explain in the video.

The Lasting Lily is a stamp in the selection of the Sale a Bration. This one is free with a order of $100 before tax and shipping. It is a Photopolymer set and had 16 stamps. Lots of great greeting in this set. It is on page 19 of the Sale a Bration catalog.
Top card also have a little to much ink for the fine detail. Still okay but after so many I learn less ink is better for this stamp set.
The card below is a perfect one in my book. We can see the detail very well.
Colors of the Lilies
I thy the lilies in Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral. To be honest I think these lilies will look great in all color you can imagine.

Hi Frenchie, Thanks for the tip for that Lasting Lily stamp. I still think it’s a little dark to see the inner flower detail. I wonder how stamping off once would work?? I don’t have that stamp set yet, but plan to get it.
Hi, Frenchie! I use a sponge dauber to apply the ink and my Stamparatus, so if I need more, it’s an easy fix!
Thanks for the tip Frenchie. Since my stamp set should be here in a couple days I now know what to watch for in using it. Love that Highland Heather one the best. Lavender is “my” color. Wear it all the time. In fact I right now have my toenails done in “Lavender” also.
It was such fun to meet you in Orlando! Thanks for this tip. I tried many times to get the distinktive look — less ink is the solution! I still have trouble with the leaves showing under the flower — but it does look better the way you showed on the video.
