Hi Friends! So nice to be back at “Frenchie’s” place!  We both decided that for today’s post we wanted to feature a 3-D project for the upcoming holidays, which is always so much FUN to make.  So I’m going to share a project with you that I made for a recent craft show, using the Remembering Christmas stamp set.

It seems that deer silhouettes are all the rage right now, judging from the Christmas magazines on the shelves.  So I borrowed this stamp set from a friend and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t 100% sold on this stamp set until I played with it.  Now I have to have it! Has that ever happened to you? LOL  I decided to create some framed art in which I just embossed the deer image on top of vintage music paper and I also embossed the mat inside the frame too.  I embossed some in gold, some silver and some in cherry cobbler:

I wanted to create a pattern on the mat so I just pressed my versamark ink pad randomly all over and then embossed it.

I was quite pleased with how these frames turned out and they sold really well at the craft fair too. I hope today’s project inspires you and if you have this stamp set you’ll have to give this a go! And if you don’t have this stamp set you can purchase from Frenchie or I.
