Good day my Friends,
Hope you are not tired of me sharing some of my kids stuff. Last week was all about Mick soccer fund raiser and now about Nika’s graduation. I though it was a great thing to share the invite and favor. I bet many are looking for ideas on all grads stuff. Well first off the invitation I use some retired stamps the Hats and number are retired and the rest are current. The color that I use are Black and Marina Mist the color for East High School. I printed the invitation on vellum card stock and in the back I place her picture. I did many sample before we accept this layout. I was very trill that it’s was all my design on this one. I don’t know if you can see the gown in this but all women at my stamping even or work they see it right away but when I show it to some men they say what is this suppose to be 🙁 well my intention is the gown. The EHS is from the Naturally Serif Decorative Strip Die .
Now the favor will be the Owl and I have another box that I forgot to take picture so I will post later when my battery is charge. Nika LOVE owls and blue so the school color is perfect for her and this owl will be a bag topper. The owl I use the Top Note Die and all these punch: Scallop, 3/4″, 1″, 1 1/4″, 1 3/8″ circle, the nose is one petal from the 5-petal punch. Voila you have a cool bag topper. The square for the hat is a piece of 2 3/4 by 2 3/4. I have to say a big THANK YOU to all my stamping friends that came at the house this past Monday to help me make all of the invite and favors…I’m so bless to have a wonderful group of stamping friend Thank YOU!
I say friends but really for me they are my family away from home. When you’re hundreds of miles away from home I really feel they’re my family away from home….
Before I leave I will share a few lovely senior picture of Nika….I just can’t believe she’ll be gone to collage soon…..

Your daughter is beautiful!! I love all of her pictures but I think my favorite is the one on the RR tracks. The announcement and owl are super cute. I am graduating and earning my teaching license next month (that seems so crazy to say!!) so these will be perfect. Is there a video coming? I am looking forward to catching up on your videos after I finish student teaching! I have missed them.
