Sweetly Sentimental and Begonia Belle Two-Step Stamp Set Tip video plus a fun fold

Today I’m sharing two new two-step flower stamp sets with you, and I’m excited because they are both so pretty! Let’s talk about Begonia Belle and Sweetly Sentimental.

Begonia Belle – July Product of the Month

Begonia Belle is a two-step stamp set, and it’s the Product of the Month for July. That means it’s only available while supplies last, and here’s how you get it:

  • You need a qualifying order of $75 before tax and shipping.
  • If a discount applies, it’s applied first — you need your order to be $75 gross after the discount.
  • Once you qualify, you can get Begonia Belle for just $5.
  • This is limited to one per account, even if your order is $150 or more. Only one Product of the Month can be claimed per order at that $5 price.

It’s such a great deal, and the flowers in this set are gorgeous — perfect for two-step stamping.

Here are a few samples. The first one is one-color ink: flower in Blackberry Bliss and leaves in Mossy Meadow.

Flower in Highland Heather and leaves in Old Olive.

Sweetly Sentimental – My New Favorite

Now let’s talk about Sweetly Sentimental. I have to say, after working with it, this one might be my favorite! It’s also a two-step flower stamp set, and it comes with 11 stamps.

The flowers in this set remind me a little bit of peonies, and the set also includes a distressed background stamp, which adds so much interest to your cards.

Color card stocks are Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather, and Basic White. Inks are: Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, and Gray Granite. ***The greeting Cheer To You is 170052 Foil Die Plate, and Happy Birthday to You is part of the Framed Violets set.

Tips for Two-Step Stamping Tip Video

I have a video where I share some tips to help you align your flowers and leaves perfectly when you’re doing two-step stamping. It can feel tricky at first, but once you see the technique, it clicks!

In the video, I also show you how to get a two-tone look using just one ink color. Here’s the trick:

  1. Stamp #1: stamp the full first image (the first generation). Stamp, Ink, Paper.
  2. Stamp #2: stamp off onto scrap paper to lighten the ink. Stamp again — this “second generation” gives you a lighter shade of the same color.

This way, you get the look of two colors even when you only have one ink pad, which is so helpful when it’s hard to find two shades that match perfectly.

This is one color.

With Sweetly Sentimental, you’ll notice some areas are left more white, and I added Stampin’ Blends to bring in extra color and dimension to the flowers. I explain all of this in detail in the video.
