Side Tower Card Fun Fold Tutorial

For today’s share, I’m going to show you how to create a Side Tower Card fun fold. This design is perfect for displaying on a mantel, bookshelf, or anywhere you want to showcase your handmade cards. It has an extended tall design with a tower on the side where you can add a greeting or decorative element. You can also use different shapes for the focal piece.

The card features a skinny side panel that lifts up so you can write your personal message inside. Best of all, it starts with a regular-size card base using half a sheet of cardstock, measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. The measurements are very simple and are listed below.

Measurements

  • Secreate Sea Card Base: 5 ½” X 8 ½” score at ½”, 1 ¾”, 3″, 4 ¼”
  • Crumb Cake: 2 ¾” X 10 ½” score at 5 ¼”,
    (3) 1” X 5 1¼”; 2 ½” X 2 ½”
    2 ½” x 2 ½”
  • Delicate Deame Designer Series Paper: (A) 2 ½” X 5”;
    (3 of pint B) ¾” X 5”;
    (print c) 2¼” X 2 ¼”;
  • Very Vanilla 2 ½” X 5”
