Learn how to color the snowflake from the Delicate Pines bundle! Additionally, a few tips on using the stamp set and dies are included. I’ll show how to heat emboss and color with the Stampin’ Blends to match the vivid tones from the Elegant Pine Snowflake Suite.
Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Paper & Colored Snowflakes Showcase
The cards below showcase the beautiful Elegant Pines Snowflake paper and the colored snowflakes. The snowflakes are stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The medium snowflakes. The colors of Stampin’ Blends are Pecan Pie, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock, Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon, and Granny Apple Green. In the video, you will see how I just mix colors, a bit of this and a bit of that. Using a dark base for the card stock, like I use Pretty Peacock or Secret Sea, makes the coloring very easy.

Measurements
- Secret Sea 11″ x 4 ¼” score st 5 ½” or 8 ½” x 5 ½” score 4 ¼”, 3 ⅝” x 4 ⅞”, 3 ¾” x 3 ¾” for large snowflakes or 2 ½” x 2 ½” for medium snowflakes, 1 ¼” x 4 ¾” and scrap for greeting.
- Lemon Lime Twist 5″ x 3 ¾”
- Basic White 3 ½” x 4 ¾” and 5′ x ¾” inside.
- Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Paper 1″ x 4 ¾”.
Layer large and medium snowflakes.
Layering the snowflake is simple with the stamps and dies. Side note, the dies also coordinate with some of the prints in the designer paper.
