As the leaves begin to turn up north, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about your fall-themed greeting cards — from Thanksgiving notes to heartfelt “thinking of you” messages. Take a peek at this simple yet elegant card featuring the Artistic Leaf stamp and the beautiful Season of Elegance designer paper. It’s an easy project that captures the warmth and richness of autumn!
Measurements:
- Basic White: 8 ½” x 5 ½” score at 4 ¼” card base; ⅝” x 3 ¼”; 3” x 3”.
- Cherry Cobbler: 5 ⅜” x 4 ⅛”, 4 ¼” x ½”.
- Season of Elegance: green and gold print 4” x 5 ¼”; ¾” x 4”. In the red and gold print:1” x 4”; ½” x 4”.
- Linen Thread 10”.
Instructions:
- On the 3” x 3” Basic White stamp the leaf. The Outline is using Old Olive, the filler in Cherry Cobbler—hand cut.
- Onto the Basic White Strip stamp the greeting using Cherry Cobbler and the little dots using Old Olive.
- Inside, adhere the Cherry Cobbler strip, the Season of Elegance green and gold strip.
- On the front of the card, adhere all layers.
- The stamped leaves and greeting using dimensionals.
- Fold the linen thread in half and make a double bow, and adhere it to the stem of the leaf.
- Randomly add the gems.
