Today, I am sharing two different Mountain Folds. Some call this fun fold the “W, V” wow fold, others call it the West Virginia fold, while I call it the mountain fold. Whatever we call it, the final result looks similar.

Two Pieces Mountain Fold

This selection of mountain fold cards is in two pieces.

Measurements

• Petunia Pop card base 11″ x 5 ½” score at 4″, 5 ¾”, 7 ½” and 9 ¼”
  top mountain 6″ x 3″ score at 3″
  Scrap for die-cut flowers
• 2024-2026 In-Color Pattern Designer paper 4 of 1 ½” x 5 ¼”
• Blackberry Bliss 3 ¾” x 5 ¼” and scrap for flowers
• Irresistible Designs 2 of 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”
• Basic White 3 ½” x 5″
• Daffodil Delight scrap for the center of flowers

Also, in the video, I share how to create the ombre resist on Irresistible paper. That paper is a must, as you can get any color you have the ink for, and it is so easy to apply the ink to it.

One Piece Mountain Fold

These cards, the mountain folds, are one piece for the card base.

Measurements

• Pretty in Pink or Petunia Pop card base 11″ x 5 ½” score at 4″, 5 ¾”, 7 ½” and 9 ¼”
  Cut from center panel (5 ¾”, 7 ½”score, see video) from 1 ¼” top and bottom (1 ¼” and 4 ¼”). This will pop out, making the top mountain.
  Scrap for die-cut flowers
• 2024-2026 In-Color Pattern Designer paper 2 of 1 ½” x 5 ¼”, 4 of 1 ½” x 1″ and 2 of 1 ½” x 3 ¾”
• Blackberry Bliss 3 ¾” x 5 ¼” and scrap for flowers
• Basic White 3 ½” x 5″
• Daffodil Delight scrap for the center of flowers

Blackberry Bliss Mountain Fold

I added the Irresistible Designer on top of the center pop-up on this one piece.

Measurements

• Blackberry Bliss card base 11″ x 5 ½” score at 4″, 5 ¾”, 7 ½” and 9 ¼”
  Cut from center panel (5 ¾”, 7 ½”score, see video) from 1 ¼” top and bottom (1 ¼” and 4 ¼”). This will pop out, making the top mountain.
  Scrap for die-cut flowers
• 2024-2026 In-Color Pattern Designer paper 2 of 1 ½” x 5 ¼”, 4 of 1 ½” x 1″ and 2 of 1 ½” x 3 ¾”
