Tip For Ink Spots and How To. Today, we will discuss the pros and cons of Stampin’Up! Ink spots. There are lots more pros than cons.
Here are a few reasons why you would like to invest in ink spots
- Short on space for your craft supplies. Ink sports are compact and take little room.
- If you like to travel, ink spots are easy to pack.
- Attend crop night or weekend. Again, take a little space to pack.
- Camping
- Friendlier on the wallet to get more colors…..
I am trying to think of a reason why having ink spots is a disadvantage over using a regular ink pad. To be honest, the one reason I can think of is having the big cover to squeeze and get the ink in the cover for watercolor. However, many prefer to use the clear block to have ink on for watercolor.
Tip For Ink Spots and How To Stamp with them on Big Stamps.
In this video, I share tips on how to hold the ink spots (Velcro and dobber) for easy inkage of stamps of all sizes. How to reink them, store them, and more.
Sponge Dauber for Easy Grip
See the video for the expression of the sponge dauber and Velcro for easy grip of the ink spots.
No matter the size of the stamp image, an ink spot can cover the entire image for stamping.
The Velcro that I prefer is the ⅝ thin circle. I found some at Walmart and Amazon.
Ink Spot Storage
There are many containers to store the ink spots, but I recommend upside down so the ink stays on the surface of the spot. The video explains everything and provides tips. My system for storing my spots is from Stamp and Storage. Click here to view or purchase.
