Using a new stamp set with an old technique is just what I have done with the Greatest Adventure for a telescope technique.
If you are one of my followers who struggle with masculine cards, come check these cards. They are simple and perfect for a masculine card.
How to create a telescope and 3D card with the Greatest Adventure
In this video, I share how to add the blending color around the card stock with a Blending Brush on the glass mat and how I create the Telescope 3D card.
Telescope Technique
For the Telescope’s look, I started with the outside frame using three layers of “dimensional.” I used the Adhesive Foma Sheet. The first circle frame uses two layers of dimensional, the third circle frame is one layer of dimensional, and the last circle is directly on the card stock. All is explained in the video.
Measurements
- Basic Black 8-½ x 5-½ score at 4-¼ card base.
- Basic Gray 5-¼ x 4
- Basic White 3-¾ x 5 front layer (cut with 1, 3, 5 stitched circle dies. *Counting dies start from left to right.) and 4 x 5-¼ inside.
3D Look Technique
For the 3D look, start with the outside frame directly on the cardstock layer *no dimensional; the first circle frame uses one layer of dimensional, the second circle has two layers of dimensional, and the last circle has three layers of dimensional. All is explained in the video.
Measurements
- Basic Black 8-½ x 5-½ score at 4-¼ card base.
- Balmy Blue 5-¼ x 4
- Basic White 3-¾ x 5 front layer (cut with 1, 3, 5 stitched circle dies. *Counting dies start from left to right.) and 4 x 5-¼ inside.
