More with the Magnolia Mood set. Today is all about the Magnolia Mood Detailed Dies How To Add Colors. I share two ways to add multicolor to the Magnolia detail die cut.
I am not one to incorporate dies much in my paper crafting, but this detailed Magnolia die is one that I use and will use repeatedly. For this detail die, there is NO coordinate stamp set. Well, there is a coordinate stamp set with the Magnolia Mood dies set, but there is NO stamp set for this particular die. It is a die that “Stands Alone by itself.” I have all the die set and stamp set details in the video below.

Magnolia Mood Detailed Dies Without Color
The magnolia card is die cut with Very Vanilla and adhered to the Early Espresso exposed brick embossed layer.
Measurements
- Very Vanilla 8-½ x 5-½ score at 4-¼, 5 x 3-¾ die cut the Magnolia.
- Early espresso 5-¼ x 4 embossed with Exposed Brick folder.
Add Color With Stampin’ Blends
The center is Pecan Pie, Magnolia Petal Pink, and the leaves are Old Olive OR Granny Apple Green Stampin’Blends
Measurements
- Very Vanilla 8-½ x 5-½ score at 4-¼, 5 x 3-¾ die cut the Magnolia *Keep the negative and embossed with the Exposed Brick folder.
- Early espresso 5-¼ x 4.
Add Color With Ink and Blending Brushes.
I prefer the small Blending Brush to add color to the Magnolia, which is all explained in the video. The center is Pecan Pie, Magnolia Petal Pink; the leaves are Old Olive inks.
