Today, I am sharing tips to create some Pinwheel Flowers With Circle Punch, and I have an easy template that will help make the Pinwheel Flowers. These pinwheel flower cards are a great layout to use some of the designer paper you have collected over the years.

I have wanted to make these pinwheel cards for a long time and finally finished it. Denise shared one of the Pinwheel cards for a team challenge, which moved me to create a video. So many wanted to know how to make it. See below for Denise’s beautiful card.

Bright and Beautiful Cards by Frenchie Teammates

Here is Denise’s card that motivated me to shoot the video. Many teammates wanted to learn how to create the Pinwheel, so I did it, plus added different types of pinwheels. Denise’s style is the one that I call a double-fold pinwheel. The card base is the Bright and Beautiful card and envelope with the coordinate paper. Double Fold Circle Pinwheel Flower Card and Template

For this pinwheel flower, I alternate the side of the designer paper. It looks different from Denise’s Pinwheel, but it is the same. I rotate the sides of the paper. The paper for all my pinwheel flowers is the Inked Botanicals. I recommend small prints for these pinwheels.

It is many ways you can create the double-fold Pinwheel. I find it easy and faster to have a template. In the video, I share how to make your template. See the video to create a template.

Fold Over Circle Pinwheel

I use the #2 template to fold my 1-¾ circle for this fold-over Pinwheel. This was a very fast pinwheel to create with the template.

Double Layer Pinwheel

The circles are using the #2 template. After I adhered the first layer of petals, I added smaller petals over the top.

Calypso Coral 9-¾ x 4-¼ score at 5-½ card base.
Inked Botanicals Designer paper 5 of 1-¾ circle and 5 @ 1-¼
Basic Black 4 x 4 emboss with Basic Folder
Old Olive scrap for leaves
Basic White 4 x 5-¼ inside, 1-¾ circle
