How to create Large Circle Card with Deckled Dies Plus I share a simple way to create a large envelope for these 5-¾ circle cards.

The lovely Deckled Die set has 14 dies from 1″ to 5-¾”. I love the big circle die and the regular circle-size card. The minute I saw this deckled circle die, I was excited and couldn’t wait to create with them. Yes, I (Frenchie) was excited about a die set. In the video, I have tips to create a layered circle card and a square envelope. I use 8-½ x 11 card stock for both the card and the envelope, so there is no need for special-size paper or a unique tool. I am sharing a simple way to create.

O Holly Night Deckled Circle Card

I use the largest deckled circle die for the large circle card base: top layer #2 and the inside #3.
***When I list the number of the dies, I count from the largest to the smallest, so left to right.

The white card base is the one that I did in the video, and I promise I will share a Night Of Navy one, and VOILA!

Circle Card with One Horse Open Sleigh and Trucking Along

I love the Open Horse Sleight designer paper with the Truck Along stamp set. We don’t have to do much with these beautiful background papers; you have a WOW card. For the inside of the card, I use #2, but I learned after making a few that #3 is best for the inside. The more we do, the better we get at it. Well, that is how I learn from my mistakes.

Birthday Circle Card

As mentioned above, these style card is great for all occasion. I used the flowers from the Meadow dies for this birthday card, and the Designer paper is Hello, Irresistible.

Measurements for card

For the card base, 6 x 11 score at 5-½.
Designer paper layer 6 x 6 or 5-½ x 5-½
Inside 5-½ x 5-½

If you wish to have less flat at the opening, you can use a 12 x 6 score a 6 for the card base. All is explained in the video.

Measurements for Square Envelope

I share the how-to in the video. I will list the measurements for 7 x 11 and 7 x 12. Using a 12″ long piece of card stock is all done in ONE piece instead of 2 pieces.

7 x 1 and 1-½ x 6
score on the long way ½ inch at each end, so ½ and 6-½. Flip that cardstock and score at 4-¾ and 10-½. See the video to remove a portion of the flap and assemble it.
12 x 6 score on the long way ½ inch at each end, so ½ and 6-½. Flip that cardstock and score at 4-¾ and 10-½—the same way to assemble and remove a portion of the side.
