Today I am sharing the Earthen Textures Tips With Dies and Stamps. I love sharing basic but valuable tips with new products. The Earthen Textures dies are different compared to most of Stampin’Up! Dies from the past. You will see the die is a smidge smaller than the stamped image. I explain all in the video, plus I say that is what I love the most about that new style die because there is no white edge from the die cut of the vase-basket.

Sample With the Earthen Textures Dies and Stamps
The first thing I notice when I die-cut the vase or the basket is that the stamped image is bigger than the die. For me, that is a fantastic improvement. Also, I love that there is no more white edge. See the picture above to compare the size of the stamp and dies.
Check the background of this card. The embossed background is done with the die, NOT an embossing folder. So there is a die in this set that doesn’t cut, but it embosses. The little flowers are NOT part of this bundle; it is the flowers for the Petal Park Builder Punch. These little flowers are great on the twig die-cut.
The pot with the little flower is part of the long vase on the left-hand side. I cut a portion of the long vase and used it for the flower pot.
The vase on this card is out of the Night Of Navy and the Soft Shimmer specialty paper. Instead, I adhere the Natural Wavy Trim. I have a tip video to attach to the Wavy Trim; click here to view it.
The greeting is framed with the Handmade Tag punch. Again I have a tip video on how to alternate the tag. Click here if you wish to view it.
