I dusted off the dust on the Wildlife Wonders and Grassy Grove stamp set and created some beautiful Scenery Reflection cards. These two stamp sets are from a year or so ago, but it’s been so long since I created cards using them that I feel they are new to me.
How many of you have stamps just collecting dust on your shelf? Well, occasionally, check your stack of stamps, pick one or some you didn’t use in a while, and create cards using them. Trust me; it will feel like you just got some new stamp sets. That is how I feel after creating many cards with these two stamp st sets today.
How to Create A Easy Scenery Reflection Using Silicone Sheet.
In the video, I share tips on using the silicone sheet to create scenery reflection cards. Trust me on this one; this technique will shock you with how easy it is to create a beautiful reflection.
Scenery With Bare
All three of the bare cards are on Basic White cardstock. The one at the top right is the one that I share in the video. All detail of this card is shared in the video.
Measurements
- 11 x 4-¼ score at 5-½ card base. White and Balmy Blue
- Early Espresso 4-⅛ x 5-⅜, Corner accent 2 of 1″ or ¾ square cut diagonal.
- Basic White 4 x 5-¼ *if using a color card base, adhere one inside also.
Scenery With Deer
In the video, I share tips for the tree and the difference between Basic White and Watercolor paper.
These two above are on watercolor paper. The card below is on basic white cardstock. The card stock is Balmy Blue, Pecan Pie, and Basic White or Watercolor paper.
Measurements
- Card base 11 x 4-¼ score at 5-½
- Middle layer 4 x 5-¼
- Basic White OR Watercolor paper 5 x 3-¾
Scenery With Wolf
The wolf stamp is part of the Wildlife Wonders. The reflection of this one is lighter than all the other cards, and I think it is because of the more detailed stamp, or it could also be I forgot to HUFF on the stamp before stamping on the silicone matt, so the ink was dry.
Scenery without the animals
Both of these cards are on watercolor paper.
Measurement
- Basic Whtie 11 x 4-¼
- Old Olive or Early Espresso 5-1/5 x 1-¼
- Azure Afternoon 3-½ x 5-¼
- Watercolor paper 3-¼ x 5
This scenery is the one that I did in the video. After the video was done and assembling the card, I noticed that I was too high with the water. This is because the trunk of the trees was underwater; it would a been great for Cypress trees. To fix that, I restamped the ground using Garden Green and added more ink to the weather so it was darker. So you can see a lighter tone of green, but overall I would say I re-coop that scenery well.
