Today it is all about mixing the Seaside Bay with some Companions. So often, we purchase a new bundle and only create with what is in the bundle. However, we have many products in our craft room that would be great to add with the new stamps and dies.
When I get a new stamp set or bundle, I challenge myself to use it with another stamp or dies I already own. Today it’s all about the Seaside Bay and what companion I found to create with that bundle. In short, when you get a new product, check what you have on hand that you can mix with. Don’t forget about those precious stamp and dies that is collecting dust.
The Split Card Textures Dies with the Seaside Bay Crab
The minute I saw that little crab, I thought we had a die that looked like a net. Well, this is the one that grabs the Split Card Textures dies. So simple but a great way to mix different products. The sentiment is stamped in Versamark, heat embossed with white powder, and colored with Cherry Cobbler blends.
Mix Foil and The Cascading Ruffles Embossing Folder.
The Cascading Ruffles folder looks like waves, so it was the perfect folder to mix with the seashells from the Seaside Bay dies. For this card, I mix different foil colors and metallic specialty paper—lots of different textures. Check out the Pearls in the clam shells. They look so realistic.
Seaside Seashells Dies and The Seashells Embossing Folder
Well, if you have the folder and the dies of the Seaside Seashells, this is obvious to use it with the Seaside Bay. The background of the card is the By The Bay designer paper. The Seaside Seashells are cut out from Pool Party, and then I sponged some Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, and some Wink of Stella.
Are you inspired to mix some products? It is a great way to stretch the value of your inventory.
Here are my three companions’ cards. What stamp or die will you mix with the Seaside Bay?
