Did you check the designer paper in the Sale A Bration offer? Fantastic selection, and today I am sharing the Dainty Flowers One Sheet Wonder.
Last week I shared tips to cut the six oval flower patterns to create 6 to 9 cards. Also, I share each print of the paper with six cards with each One Sheet Wonder.
The Dainty Flowers look like a watercolor canvas, plus the colors of the flowers are very cheerful.
Replay Of The Dainty Flowers One Sheet Wonder
If you miss the live broadcast now, you can watch the replay and learn how to create 6 to 9 easy cards with the Dainty Flowers One Sheet Wonder. I share many tips along the way. The design of the paper is excellent for many occasions, birthdays, weddings, thinking of you, and much more.
Eight Or Nine Cards with the Oval Prints
On a 12×12 sheet, there are six ovals with strips of flowers in the center. I have how to cut the paper to create 8 to 9 cards in the video.
Measurement
- Basic White 11 x 4-¼ score at 5-½ or 8-½ x 5-½ score at 4-¼ for the card base
- Layer card stock Rich Razzleberry or Starry Sky 5-¼ x 4
- The designer paper is cut at 5 x 3-¾
With the 2″ flower strips in the center, you can cut in the center at 6″ and then trim to 5-¼ or cut in a 4″ section.
With the 2 x 5-¼ strips.
- Basic White 11 x 4-¼ score at 5-½ cardbase
- Layer cardstock 5-⅜ x 4-¼ and 2-⅛ x 4-⅛ (layer of designer paper)
- Top color cardstock embossed with embossing with Timeworn Type folder
For the one with the 4″ section, add a color card stock of 2-⅛ x 4-⅛ adhere on the Enjoy the Adventure Memories and more Cards &. envelops (page73 of the spring 2023 catalog)
Six Cards with the watercolor flowers mirror image.
I said many times that I prefer trees and nature over flowers. These flowers are Wild Flowers, so you know I love them a lot. I can see myself in the meadow collecting some of these flowers. With beautiful print paper like there, it is no need to add more. The print itself is gorgeous; why add more to take away from these pretty flowers?
This set of cards was also shared in the video. I share fifteen cards in the video with many tips along the way.
Measurements
- Cut the Designer paper into 4″ strips, then increment 5-1/4, keeping the 1-1/2 strips for stripes on the front or inside.
- Basic White 11 x 4-¼ score at 5-½ card base, scrap for the oval.
- Rich Razzleberry or Starry Sky 5-⅜ x 4-⅛, scrap for the scallop oval.
- Designer paper 5-¼ x 4
For more patterns out of the Dainty Flowers paper
The paper pack contains 12 sheets of patterned paper: 2 of 6 double-sided designs. I mainly used the flowers side of each pepper except for one pattern (see the last showcase). I could mix the front and back, but I couldn’t make myself add glue on the beautiful flower side.
The top cards and the one below look alike, but the flowers are more significant.
Measurements
- Cut the Designer paper into 4″ strips, then increment 5-1/4, keeping the 1-1/2 strips for stripes on the front or inside (cut the strips at 4″ by ¾ or ½).
- Basic White 11 x 4-¼ score at 5-½ card base, scrap for the oval.
- Rich Razzleberry or Starry Sky 5-⅜ x 4-⅛, scrap for the scallop oval.
- Designer paper 5-¼ x 4
For these ones, I used two different patterns. First, I am cutting the designer paper into strips of 4″. Each strip is cut at 2-½ and 2-¾.
