What a great combination with the Vellum Layering Designs Over The Perfectly Penciled designer paper. These two papers are such an excellent combination for a wow effect.
The Perfectly Penciled prints are in black and white. The beauty of design paper in black and white is that we can color them in any color of our choice. If you have a shaky hand and the coloring is more complex, choose the side of the background that is black so that even if you don’t stay in the lines, it will not show. Also, you can choose to keep them in black and white—so many possibilities with these two beautiful papers.
Tip video to layer the Vellum Layering Designs Over The Perfectly Penciled
The video was recorded live during a live broadcast, “Create On The Fly.” You will find some great tips for coloring the designer paper and adding a vellum layer on the card front.
Coloring With Blends On The Perfectly Penciled
It is very easy to add color with the Stampin’ Blends. Very important to color the paper before you assemble your cord. Stampin’ Blends will bleed through the paper. That is normal, so this is why you want to color before assembling.
In the picture above, you can see it is only black and white (oops, I did color a little before the image). Of course, you could choose to keep it in black in white, but WOW, see the following picture of how the color makes this print come to life.
Now, the velum at the top of the colored designer paper softens the look.
So Proud Of You, Cards
Here is the finished card with the black background print. I did a few of them for my team awards for this year awards.
Happy Birthday Laying
This is the card that I create during the live broadcast. You can view the replay of the video above. Such a fun card and beautiful, if I say so 🙂
The inside edge I stamped with the Artistic Inked stamp.

Love your cards and novel ideas. I am wondering if you offer product shares. Am interested in the DSP samples on the standard 8-1/2 x 11 paper.
Thanks,
