Tip Video For the Flowers Of Friendship and Flowers & Leaves Punch.
This video was recorded live during one of my Create On The Fly. I share many tips, from assembling cling stamps and setting blowers and leaves on one block to stamp and aligning with the punch. So many great tips in this video that I bet you will be glad that you took the time to watch.
I used the Abstrac Beauty card base in the video, and these have been retired. Instead, the cards below use the Watercolor Shapes stamp set, an excellent set for quick and easy background for similar cards.
Watercolor Shapes and Flowers of Friendship Card
Well, this is so simple; not much to talk about. The trickiest thing was to stamp the flower and leaves to align with the punch, and I shared excellent tips to assemble the stamps on a clear block that will align with the punch.
The rectangle is a stamp in the Watercolor Shapes stamp set. Stamp in the color of your choice, then the greeting from the stamp set Flowers Of Friendship and adhere the flowers and leaves. Yes, that is simple, but if you want to add a little pizzazz, you can adhere some of the Brushed Brass Butterflies and draw the flight pattern for a bit of charm.
Color for the top card are:
- Rectangle stamp with Tahitian Tide ink.
- Flower color with Sweet Sorbet and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
- Leaves color with Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends.
The rectangle is Soft Succulent in this card, and the flower Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.
The flower and leaves on this card are stamped on card stock Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party. The rectangle is Parakeet Party ink.
Trudy sent this card to me, and it is on a full-size card. Again I love the simplicity of this card. Flowers are Bermuda Bay and leave Granny Apple Green.
All cards that I share today are a perfect example that simple is beautiful! If you don’t, you want to send it, plus it will brighten someone’s day. If you don’t have lots of spare time and wish to send smiles or create cards remember simple is perfect and will get the message. If you take the time to make cards take the time to send them…. cards are very powerful!
