I am sharing the beautiful Easter Sunrise With After The Storm stamp set for today’s card. I love how these cards turn out, and I have the video below to share step-by-step how to create two different styles of the sunrise with the cross. 

I spent time looking for the perfect Easter Greeting for this card, and all that time I was looking for an Easter greeting, I had the ideal greeting laying out on my desk. The After the Storm stamp set greeting is perfect for Easter morning. “Even the darkest night will pass, and the sun will rise” how powerful is this greeting or message for Easter morning.  I can’t say enough how versatile is After The Storm stamp set is. Yes, I could be biased, but I do love it.

Yes, that is correct the amazing After the Storm stamp set is SOLD out but I decided to keep this post so all who have this set can be inspired to create these lovely cards plus I also share with the mountain so you could create a similar card with out the stamp set.

Cross In the Mountain 

The black mountain was the first attempt I made with the sunrise with the cross. I love it, but then I thought I would try it in the meadow, so that is the next one. 

The mountain is masked with copy paper and blends and drag ink. All is shown in the video.

After I tried one of the sunrises in the meadow, I became addicted to creating another one and another one and so on… I love how simple this was to create, and I am in awhhhh of the look of these cards. 

Measurements 

• Basic White 11 x 4 ¼ score at 5 ½ card base, 4 x 5 ¼ top layer 
• Basic Black OR Evening Evergreen 4 1/8 x 5 ⅜
